What have you done differently lately?

I’ll let you do the writing this week (that’s what I’ll do differently!) since I relocated earlier this week and I’m still working on settling in.

So tell me,

  • What’s the ONE thing you’ve done, or done differently, as a result of reading “Effortless Networking”?
  • And how has it affected you and your business?

Please post your comments below. I’m eager to find out!

And if you’ve done nothing (yet), what’s ONE thing you will do over the next week or so?

(Go ahead, make a public declaration and post it below — you’re more likely to do it that way! ;) )

Till next week,
– Sri

I have actually documented a list of what people are most likely to want my services in the mortgage market. This has helped me focus on prospect more likely to engage me.

I have also culled the people to follow up and attempt to maintain a relationship with after a networking session.

I suppose that my biggest sin is that I have not taken the time to learn all about how to use the Internet to my best advantage. I am 73 and just want to get on with it, but coming from a farm, I should have known that you have many steps to take before you cut the corn!

    Hi Srirupa,
I read it and then delivered it the the unemployed, to my surprise they understood the package.Number 5 is what sells it as they get a chance to reflect and this is what remains in their minds. 1-4 is used in my everyday training. I’m Still using it.

Thanks for your comments so far. It’s wonderful to see 3 very different applications of the same information. Keep them coming!

The one thing that I have done differently lately is start up my own networking breakfast, once a fortnight. There is only 3 of us at this stage, but we are all keen to help each other and give each other feedback and grow from 3 to 13 in the next couple of months!

    Thanks Srirupa!

My problem is I have several startup businesses going on at the same time- all at the groundwork level, and I have not been able to give each one enough momentum, while I can’t give up any one of them. Must be like having a bunch of kids and being too poor to support them all and not having the heart to give up anyone. So my energy has been spent on figuring out which ones to “weed” out.
