Generating 50 leads a day!

Sunday, July 2nd, 2006

Do you want or need to generate a large number of leads per day?

If so, let me tell you right up front, that “networking” may not be the best way to do so! On the other hand, “prospecting” may help you with this goal.

Generating leads from networking is like going to a bakery to buy cake.

Generating leads from prospecting is like buying cake from the supermarket.

Both can taste very good (some supermarkets make great cake!).

However, there is a difference: one is “hand-crafted” and produced in small quantities, and the other is “mass produced”.

So if you want to generate large quantities of leads on a daily basis, consider methods other than networking.

For instance, trade shows are a great way to find prospects and generate large numbers of leads.

When I used to do trade shows, I could get up to 20 leads per hour. In order to get this kind of result, I had to have a very clear offering and choose my shows carefully.

But doing trade shows regularly is hard work. With 2 small children now, I don’t have the time and energy to do this anymore.

So a very good alternative for me has been to do the bulk of my prospecting online. (I still do some offline prospecting, but not nearly as much.)

The best source of information, that I have found, on how to generate good quality leads online is “The System”.

In the 2 years that I have been a member, I have learned more ways to generate and convert traffic (i.e. get large volumes of good quality leads) than I have been able to implement. And all this, without having attended the annual seminar/conference that they have — which I understand is “mind-blowing”.

As a member, I literally learn a new, and often easy and inexpensive, way to generate online traffic and/or convert them to leads EVERY month — from using Google, to blogging, to article marketing, to stuff that I never even imagined.

So if you really need to generate a huge number of leads on a regular basis, see if going online can be one of your methods.

If so, seriously consider getting The System Smart Beginners program and *definitely* become a member.

And if you have questions regarding my experience with them, feel free to contact me.

Good luck!
